These countries perform relatively well in categories like infrastructure development and internet affordability, although challenges remain in digital skills and the perceived trust and safety of online environments.

On the other end of the spectrum, many low-income African countries face significant barriers, including low internet penetration, limited affordability, and insufficient digital literacy, which hinder broader internet adoption and usage.
